Balasana
(Jurmala 2024)
Book

The change in the life of my family. Life after Moscow, that felt like the perfect storm, simply stopped. Although it might return in the future, now it’s completely the opposite. Jurmala, a place we only went to during the summer, has become a permanent place of living all year round. In comparison to the megapolis it feels like a deserted house in the woods, still and out of sync. Sudden change of tempo has its upsides and drawbacks. Feeling abandoned, without things to do, having to find new areas of your own impact, not to feel powerless. Leaving the schedule, familiar people and social circles. But at the same time getting out of the endless hurry, noticing things that previously were just out of reach of your own attention, caring about oneself. Understanding what you have done was for a reason, taking it and building a new plan for your life.
